Chocolate Covered Strawberries
This recipe is a quick way to enjoy a fun and relatively healthy summer treat. I like to use frozen strawberries because the melted chocolate hardens faster, but fresh strawberries can be used too. Have fun with this recipe and experiment with different chocolates!

6 strawberries halved (frozen or fresh)
1/4 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon of Butter
Directions
- Melt 1/4 cup of chocolate chips and 1 tablespoon of butter. Melted chocolate should have a liquid consistency.
- Dip strawberry halves into chocolate. Place chocolate covered strawberries in a plastic container to avoid sticking.
- For frozen strawberries, freeze until the chocolate hardens (about 5 min). For fresh strawberries, chill in fridge until the chocolate hardens (about 20 minutes).
