Easy Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup milk

  • 1/3 cup finely chopped onion

  • 1 egg

  • 1 cup of panko bread crumbs

  • 1 lb ground meat (turkey, chicken, pork)

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 375 F.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the 1/3 cup of milk, 1/3 cup of chopped onion, 1 egg, and 1 cup of bread crumbs. Let the mixture rest for 3 to 5 minutes to absorb some of the liquid.
  • Mix in 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, 1/2 teaspoon dried basil, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. Add 1 lb of ground meat to the mixture.
  • Make small meatballs approximately 1 to 1 1/2 inches in diameter and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  • Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes, until fully cooked.
